Its just 1.3 mile drive or even walk to a Lake Michigan Beach and the owners farm market & winery! The location is the best of both worlds...conveniently located in the heart of all of Northern Michigan's favorite destinations! With Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, and Lake Charlevoix so close you have access to the best beaches Northern Michigan has to offer! Elk Rapids, Boyne City, Petoskey and Traverse City aren't much further! The Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and Mackinaw Island are both an easy day trip. And great restaurants in every direction. Its also perfect for nature enthusiasts or those just looking for a quiet peaceful northern Michigan experience with its quiet surroundings and a nature preserve just down the road with an expansive beach and walking trails.
The house is ready for your family or group of friends with two dining areas and a chef's kitchen with a large center island flowing together perfectly for entertaining. The spacious main level master suite enjoys spectacular views, private bath with soaker tub, and in floor heat! A half bath and laundry room, are just off the kitchen area. On the upper level is an expansive sleeping area with more stunning views, a bedroom and full bath. The lower level has an extra-large family/media room with foosball table mini bar, books and games, 2 additional bedrooms, and full bath.
Outside enjoy the tranquility on the large beautiful deck as you listen to the sounds of nature and watch the wildlife. Set up a game of corn hole in the large yard perfect for running and playing. Summary: This was a nice house that accommodates a large number of people. You must drive if you want to get to the nearby beach down the street or the farm market/wine tasting. It is about a 15 minute drive into Charlevoix. We had to purchase toilet paper as it would not have been enough to last our stay. There was also no soap, shampoo or paper towels. This is the first time we’ve rented a vacation rental so this might be common, but we didn’t realize we would have to bring these items.
