Your family mountain vacation just got better at Grand Mountain Getaway! This spacious home near Dupont Forest is in close proximity to Jeter Mountain Farm and a short drive to Downtown Hendersonville and Brevard, and is the perfect spot for hikers, mountain bikers, outdoor enthusiasts, and families who enjoy spending quality time together. Even your pups can join you (up to 2 dogs are allowed - guests must sign a Pet Addendum along with a Vacation Rental Agreement). The grand entrance invites you in to an open living space with comfortable furniture overlooking the spacious back deck and mature trees behind the home. The winter mountain views are captivating. The well equipped kitchen, completed with top of the line appliances, provides all the basics you need to prepare meals. Two coffee makers - a regular drip and a Keurig are available to our guests. The primary en-suite is located on the main level with a Queen size bed, a full size bathroom with a separate shower and tub, and a spacious walk-in closet. Three additional bedrooms with two baths are located upstairs and an additional sleeping area is in the basement right off the family play room and full bath. The ping pong table in the basement play room is great for friendly tournaments and your kids will enjoy reading books, playing games, and watching TV there. The outdoor space at this home is perfect for your morning devotions or simply enjoying the wildlife and beauty of the mountains.

Summary: House was dark.. minimal lighting. No ceiling fans so no circulation meant that we needed air conditioning on lower temps. It appeared that someone or program would turn thermostat up. Downstairs had a smell about it.. always had to empty dehumidifier. There was nowhere for people to sit to enjoy game room. We had a very hard time with wifi.. paid for early check in and could not even get in house. We had to drive 15 minutes to call and get temporary passcode. Not all electrical outlets worked.Some of the cooking equipment were filthy.. the ones under the stove. on a good note as a previous vacation home rental owner. The linens and trash bags ..blankets etc were amazing very well stocked. The outside and deck need some care.. there was broken glass around the back yard and fire pit area. I’m sorry to be so negative but I just seemed more frustrated than relaxed. The wifi was a nightmare since someone had written over the password and it was very worn.
