Positive: A wonderful Japanese hotel - the onsen looks out over the countryside, the meals were superb, using fresh seafood and varied tastes, and the proximity to Sandankyo made for excellent exploring options.
Negative: The futons were thin, but with an extra mattress, were much more comfortable for Westerners 😊
Summary: A wonderful stay in beautiful countryside
