Positive: It was self catering which suited us and we could choose what we wanted to eat and when we wanted to. We had hired a large car so we were out every day and we had the American part of our family with us and they enjoyed it tremendously and liked being in the Cotswolds. The beds were comfortable and the house was very nice too.

Negative: Now I have to say this and am sorry but the owners MUST do something about the rope holder on the stairs to the bedrooms. They were quite steep stairs and we had mixed ages - old and young adults - but obviously the rope did not fit through the rings meant for it so it had been cut at each ring and only the strands fitted through and fastened down. An accident waiting to happen. It is a shame and possibly the fault of the holiday management team not the owner but please look at that because the house is lovely and this is a big detraction from that.

Summary: I am sure that with the recommended repair our American family and us as well would like to return
