A large European inspired home set on 1.5 acres of lush tropical gardens located between the picturesque hinterland towns of Montville and Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast yet only 20mins to the beautiful beaches the Sunshine Coast is renoun for. Go for a swim in one of the many local swimming holes or waterfalls or catch some waves at the beach before heading home to your haven set amidst a tropical oasis. With every room in the house [including the spa bathroom] opening up to the outside with french doors, the breeze will keep you cool on those balmy summer evenings. You can be forgiven to still sit around the outdoor fire pit [with seating for the whole tribe] and cook some smore's in summer also. For those winter evenings, an indoor wood fire place in the family lounge room warms up those cooler evenings and entices the whole family together for game night or movie night. This three story mansion has the four main bedrooms on the second floor located around the corner from the large entrance way. The extra bedroom is located upstairs in the converted loft along with another large entertaining space. The ground floor is where the family come together either in the large chiefs kitchen, dining, lounge or recreation room which all open up to either the entertaining deck or the tropical gardens that surround the home. Enjoy days or evening that light up with festoon lighting as you reminise on your day exploring the all that the Sunshine Coast has to offer. Only a 3 minute drive to the infamous Montville and it's cafe's and street lined specialist shops, an 8 minute drive to Kondalilla Falls, only a little further to Maleny and it's wineries or in the other direction, a 6 minute drive to Palmwoods where you can order a burger while listening to live music at the famous, family friendly Ricks Garage or check out one of the many little cafes or sumptious restaurants. For those easy evenings where you just want a quick meal without cooking you will find Pizza Hutt and a takeaway shop in Palmwoods also.
While Hinterland Haven is private and peaceful, you will find it's so convenient still to the Hinterland attractions [Australia Zoo, Montville, Maleny etc] and the beach life of the Sunshine Coast. Large enough to host 2-3 friend groups or the extended family, you will have room to gather together or have some well anticipated quiet time. Only new to Hosting you still have the chance to make this your new annual family gettaway before she gets to popular.
*While the home is set up with bedding to suit 12 persons [5x Queen beds and 2x single beds] there is ample space for extra bedding to be set up should you require with consent and consideration from the hosts.
