This adorable retreat is in the heart of Burlington‘s beautiful historic downtown district. Whether on vacation or just passing through, this charming house will make you feel at home. Located just a short walk away from restaurants, breweries, shops, cafés, and athletic centers, you will have plenty to keep you occupied. Not to mention the newly designed and built Arboretum Park, which this house is located directly in the center of.
The space
This cute house has more than meets the eye. A spacious front porch with two vintage style rockers and a table to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, with a secluded private backyard at night. This allows you to enjoy a gorgeous custom built fire pit, charcoal and gas grill (gas provided), and large outdoor entertaining area. Drinks, bbq, fire, and s’mores 🙂. (Bring your own firewood). Outside dining table for 4, and adorandack chairs around the fire pit for 4.
This recently remodeled 1940s bungalow has charm around every corner.
Two spacious bedrooms with cozy queen beds and all new bedding and linens. With the master bedroom having a leather futon that converts to a twin bed. Mattresses, linens, bedding, are all of top quality and brand new. The bathroom is equipped with fresh towels for 5 people, body wash, mini body soaps, hand soap, and 2-3 rolls of toilet paper. (If you need more, just bring extra.) You’ll have everything you need with cleanliness and functionality of the utmost importance.
The living room has a small couch, recliner & a cozy chair, along with some games. The dining room is a 4 person table and two leafs are in the laundry room if you need it bigger.
The living space has large flatscreen smart TV, foosball table, dartboard, and board games. And of course the house comes with high-speed Wi-Fi.
The kitchen, beautifully done with stone countertops, full-size working appliances, and everything you need to cook, and enjoy your meals.
For those needing a longer stay, or just catch up on some laundry, full-size washer and dryer are included. The safest neighborhood in Burlington‘s beautiful historic downtown district. Located just a short walk or drive away from restaurants, breweries, shops, cafés, and athletic centers, you will have plenty to keep you occupied. Very close to Elon College. Not to mention the newly designed and built Arboretum Park, which this house is located directly in the center of. This is a great park to take a walk in, especially if you have pets. They provide doggy bags and trash, and they are currently working on a children’s garden with a play area out there restroom area with picnic tables.
There’s breweries, wine & charcuterie places, restaurants, bakeries, ice cream shops, antique shops & instacart delivers as well as door dash. If want have any restaurant or drink place suggestions, we’ve tried most all the places in the area. A stay in this house truly will be a pleasing and fun experience. With the proximity of restaurants and breweries and the seclusion of a historic neighborhood park you can walk to or bike to.
Restaurants & bars and breweries are short 1/2 mile away. Burlington City Park is just around the corner & has tennis courts, a swimming pool, trails and parks, for anyone who likes to spend time outside.
