This property is set in the quiet and serene suburb of Killarney in the City of Kings, Bulawayo, midway between Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe (441 kilometres) and one of the seven wonders of the world, the majestic Victoria Falls (437 kilometres)
Built in the year 1996, initially as a 4 bedroomed house and a home to a family of 5, it has gone through additions and refurbishments to include the wing which now is the 3 bedroomed wing which is the wholly exclusive Guest House.
The main bedroom in this wing, comes with an en-suite bathroom and toilet, while the other two bedrooms share a saparate bathroom and saparate toilet. In addition to the 3 bedrooms mentioned above, an additional 3 bedrooms in the main wing can also accomodate another 6 guests, making a total space for 12 guests. There is a separate bathroom with shower and hot bath tub and a toilet meant for the extra 6 guests. .
Guests entertain themselves in a well furnished lounge with cable television anytime of day; and there is a very well maintained clean swimming pool situated in the middle of a beautiful green garden
Safari trips can easily be organised to the Matopo National Park (about 50 kilometres south of Bulawayo), where the remains of the world famous British politician/businessman and founder of The British South Africa Company who died in 1902, Cecil John Rhodes lie. Climbing to the top of the hill, which has become known as "The World's View", in order to view Rhodes's grave is quite inspiring and challenging; but quite achieviable by persons of most ages.
The Khami Ruins lie to the north west of the city, while Chipangali, a Wildlife Oparnage lies to the south east of city and is quite an attraction for animal lovers.
Bulawayo is serviced by Air Zimbabwe and South African Airways flights among others; and the famous Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport has Bulawayo as its home. The above airlines have strong relationships with a lot of other renowned airlines. Coach services are also available.
