Summary: Excellent location and so good having free tea and coffee all day, overlooking the harbour. Enjoyed the sauna too and booked the rooftop jacuzzi at the sister hotel for a small fee. (£4). Breakfasts were delicious and really set us up for the day. Enjoyed the fika cake on days we were around. I’d considered the evening meal as a bonus - if we were around and liked it it would save us ££ from going out. As it happened we ate there 4 times. I’m a veggie and it was limited but ok. There were always 4 salads, usually one with lentils, beans or quinoa which made it more of a meal, a leafy salad, a pasta salad (not always veggie) and a slaw of some description. Usually a veggie friendly soup, focaccia bread. The mains were things like pasta bolognese or pork and mash with veg, so not any good for me but where there were separate elements I had some. Eg plain pasta which I added roasted veg too and some cream cheese. I also had seeded crisp breads and cream cheese and/or houmous. This fitted us as we had excursions or other plans so a quick ish meal and for free meant we spent the money on other things. Comfortable room, hot showers, friendly staff. Would recommend and would love to go back.
