Summary: My family consisting of 4 adults, 1 teenager and a 5 & 7-year-old stayed here for 3 weeks in August 2020. Upon arriving we were greeted by the owner’s neighbour who was lovely but couldn't speak a word of English. Having a non-English speaker greet us created some frustration because neither party could get across what we were trying to say, plus we had to sign a document that was all in French and we didn't know what exactly we were signing. However, it all worked out fine. I believe the owner usually greets guests but was away on family business that weekend. The house is quite private and enclosed by high conifers and trees as well and having secured gates. Most of the living quarters and rooms are located on the 1st floor including 3 bedrooms’, bathroom, dining and living room, a further 2 bedrooms and bathroom being located on the ground floor (Something to keep in mind as depending on your party size you may end up having children sleeping downstairs on their own). Access to the property is via the steps into the kitchen. The kitchen is a small but well equipped, we managed to find most things we needed to cater for 7 people at a time. The dining table is large and could easily sit us all. We ate out on the balcony most days though, the canopy/sunshade bringing welcome relief from the hot sun. On the balcony was a gas BBQ which offered more ways of cooking food. We moved a bit of furniture around to suit our needs as we were there for 3 weeks and there was a lot of ornaments that we moved out the way due to having children. Overall the house is a little dated but everything worked and we really liked it once we'd settled in. During our stay is was quite hot and there were no fans, we were reluctant to leave doors/windows open due to mosquitoes and spiders coming into the house (which the children hate). In the garden there is children’s playhouse (showing its age a little), the owner kindly purchased a new paddling pool for my children to use during our stay, which they loved! There is also a full sized table tennis table which got lots of use. The owner is lovely and very proactive, she is really responsive to questions and even ordered two new garden chairs and had them delivered when one of the existing chairs broke. She answered all my questions promptly and was really helpful in terms of guiding us to nice beaches etc… We loved staying here for 3 weeks and would recommend the property. We were sad to leave.
