Positive: Another fabulous stay at Ingleby Barn. It is our favourite spot. Baysdale is truly special, with the type of remoteness and tranquility it is not easy to find in England. This time around, we got snow, and it was a new kind of beauty in Baysdale. Every time we visit, the place seems more and more intriguing. Don't try to do the drive between Westerdale and Blakey Ridge in winter conditions though...take it from us!! A spade and help from several passers by was needed! But the lane in and out of Baysdale from Kildale was fine other than on the particularly snowy morning.
