Nestled in the heart of the quaint town of Wilson, Glory View is an inviting home with an open concept layout, perfect for après gatherings. Just steps away from local restaurants and retail shops such as Nora's Famous Fish Creek Inn and Pearl Street Bagels, and a short drive to Teton Village, this luxury home checks all the boxes.
Perfect for Skiing, hiking or just lounging around in the fresh mountain air, Glory View welcomes guests into its ample mudroom equipped with four ski lockers to stow all your gear out of sight. Beyond the utilitarian entry lays the expansive gourmet kitchen, designed for both cooking and gathering. Replete with Monogram appliances, a six-burner gas stove, a butler's pantry, wet bar, beverage fridge and crowned with an oversized island complete with three counter stools making this kitchen a wonderful place to gather and recount the days adventures. Additional culinary amenities also include a Nespresso coffee machine and serve wares for all your dinner party needs. Just beyond the kitchen find a dining table for eight (two extra chairs are provided).
The great room is centered with a stone gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows with views of its namesake, Mount Glory. Use the Frame TV for movie nights or to display your choice of artwork.
Behind the kitchen lies the office with two built in desks and a queen memory foam sofa sleeper. Across the hall is a full bath with a shower. Off the back of the house is a covered deck with dining table and eight-person hot tub. Off the great room lies a stone patio with gas firepit, ideal for relaxing after a long day of skiing or hiking.
An open staircase in the great room leads to the second floor. Atop the landing are three bedrooms and a spacious laundry closet. The primary king suite shares the same mountainous views as the great room and adorned with another stone gas fireplace. The primary ensuite features a soaking tub, oversized steam shower and heated floors.
A cozy second bedroom also features a king bed and large closet. Last but certainly not least, the third bedroom has a king and custom built in twin XL bunkbeds with a trundle. In between these two bedrooms is a large two vanity bathroom with separate water closet and a large soaking tub.
The Glory View house in the historic town of Wilson in Jackson Hole is conveniently located between downtown Jackson, Wyoming, with shopping and entertainment and Teton Village, Wyoming, with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort ski area and the entrance to Grand Teton national Park, each of which are only a 10 minute drive away.
A short walk from the house down the private drive will bring you to downtown Wilson, including Nora's Fish Creek Inn restaurant, Pearl Street bagels, Hungry Jack's General store, and the Stagecoach bar. Wilson backcountry sports can outfit you with all of your mountain biking or backcountry skiing needs on Teton Pass or connect with of the local outfitters for an exciting snowmobile or dog sled tour. Jump on your bike or lace up your boots for a hike or bike ride right out the front door. Teton county bike trails connect you from Wilson all the way out to Grand Teton National Park and back to town. In the summer, you can use the provided inner tubes or kayak to float Fish Creek right back to the house.
Rendezvous park (known by the locals as “R Park”) is less than 2 miles away and situated right on the Snake River with a swimming and fishing pond, beach like shoreline, sledding in the winter, and the famous giant Troll statue. In the summer, enjoy some time on the water; There are several river rafting floats and fishing trips, available right on the Snake River, and don't forget to visit Astoria Hot Springs!
In the winter, free skier parking and shuttles to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort are available from the Stilson parking lot located just 1 mile away.
A trip to Jackson Hole wouldn't be complete without visiting the spectacular national parks. Grand Teton National Park is just a 10-minute drive and Glory View makes for a perfect Basecamp for a day trip to Yellowstone National Park.
