Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: It was lovely and spacious, very clean and very well equipped. The bathroom was beautiful and the bedroom was delightful. It was also great that we could have our dog with us, and we enjoyed the peace of this charming village. Johnny, the host, was really helpful when we couldnโ€™t get the internet working. All in all, it was a lovely place to stay.
Negative: It was not the hostโ€™s fault, but we had to carry all our belongings from a car park some distance away to the apartment because the road was blocked off for repairs. As we had all our food and luggage, it was quite difficult, especially as we are quite โ€˜seniorโ€™. We were warned of this but rather too late to change our plans. Obviously, this is a temporary situation, but it made the access awkward. I also think that in the house, there should be a handrail on the stairs. It would be very easy to slip and fall as there is nothing to hold on to, so maybe a tip for Johnny to install one.
Summary: We liked it very much. It was private, clean, well-equipped and peaceful.
