Built in the late 1800s, this splendid family home emulates style, beauty and heritage like no other. Spanning two storeys, Kingcraig boasts multiple living zones, spacious bedrooms and immaculate grounds. Proudly overlooking Louttit Bay and located within a short stroll of cosmopolitan Lorne, Kingcraig is private and luxurious. Entering the property, the home itself gives off a sense of grandeur with cast iron columns, balustrade fretwork and iconic palm tree.
The spacious undercover veranda, complete with multiple outdoor settings and daybeds leads guests into the home. Lofted ceilings and polished wood floors throughout, each room flanks the skylit full length hallway. Both kitchen and formal dining/living room take pride of place at the front of the home, the dining area boasting a grand bay window and open fireplace.
The kitchen is well equipped and includes breakfast table and side balcony access. Bedrooms are spacious and all offer a variety of modern creature comforts, in particular the master bedroom, with en suite bathroom, couch,balcony access and direct passage to one of two children's rooms. There is also a fully equipped gymnasium room. Separately accessed downstairs is a self contained studio with multiple bedding, kitchenette, sitting area and bathroom.
Kincraig truly is an adventure for all, particularly the youngsters. The rear living room is set up for pure indoor entertainment with a selection of movies, games and accesses the rear courtyard, a protected retreat complete with outdoor fire & seating and an awesome basketball 1/4 court. Adding to the fun, the front of the property treats the kids once again with inground trampoline and soft synthetic turf for ultimate playtime. Other key features include 7 car underground lock up garage with a lift taking you up inside the home. Hydronic heating and gas barbecue.
