Located in the Santa Cruz Valley between the Santa Rita and Tumacacori mountain range, at 3600 ft, is a beautiful little guesthouse down a tree lined drive situated in a mesquite Bosque, also known as forest. It offers 800 sq. ft. of living space in the historic and artist colony of the Village of Tubac. The cottage is a delightful place for bird-watching or just for sitting and enjoying the sounds of nature. Just down the street is the Anza Trail for hiking and a simply beautiful riparian corridor known as the Santa Cruz River. The scenic beauty and unique ecology has the greatest diversity of plant and animal species found in the United States. You will be able to revisit history at the Tubac Presidio, Arizona's first State Park, and 2nd to oldest town west of the Sabine River. You can shop in a variety of galleries, shops and studios in the Village. Golf is a less than a mile away and offering 27 holes as well as a Spa and salon. The guesthouse has all the amenities, new commercial wash/dryer, a full kitchen, nicely equipped with most of what you will need to create gourmet meals, double ovens and a new cook-top. We have a full bath with double Talavera sinks, flat screen TV, and Wi-Fi. The queen size premium pillow top bed offers a wonderful quiet sleep and a queen size sofa bed lends itself to visiting guest, linen and towels are included. The guesthouse has a large spacious living area with three sliding glass doors for plenty of light, dining area for four comfortably. There is a small yard for pet and the dog park is just around the corner. We have a variety of restaurants, wonderful grocery and events happening each month.
