Nestled on a hill, "on" the old Roman road linking Tournus to Autun, in the hollow of a sublime hilly wine-growing setting mixing bucolic vineyard hillsides, wooded meadows & beautiful wild forests, Fley has a very rich heritage (listed 12th century Romanesque church, chapels, beautiful winegrowers' residences & perfectly renovated 18th century farms, wash houses, cadoles, etc.) and houses in imposing 19th century buildings (superb priory & beautiful neo-Gothic church) the famous religious community of "Saint Jean de Notre Dame de Rimont" (a place of retreats and training center of international renown). Very comfortable gîte. Very spacious. Warm "bourgeois" country character worthy of a sweet "family home", enhanced by the soul of the original building (preservation of the elegant stone fireplace mantel, beams & framework).
