Summary: Our family had a lovely stay in this property. The house was nicely prepared and thoroughly cleaned when we arrived. There was a free cider in the fridge, The garbage bins in the kitchen were good big size for a family. There were shampoo & soap in the bathroom. The spring mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable. There is a nice size grocery store a quick drive away and a bakery within walking distance. The city of Bayeux is next door and is lovely & vibrant. The only thing that families should be mindful of is that the vintage house is quite old and so there is only 1 bathroom and 1 toilet at the ground level while the bedrooms are all upstairs. The stairs are old & a little bit slippery so this place is definitely not for people who has balance issues. Also, there are donkeys in the neighborhood which make some loud noises from time to time. At first we thought donkeys were frequently slaughtered by the sound they made but it was really their natural voices! 😆 Overall my family of 2 adults and 2 teenage boys enjoyed staying in this house for our 6-day vacation in France. Thank you Michelle & Victor for being great hosts!
