Private Pocono area Lake front Home. Please note, this property is located about 20 minutes west of Lake Harmony, on a larger, private 160 acre lake named 'Lake of the Four Seasons' which is the community called 'Beech Mountain Lake'. It is an electric motor only lake. Easy access off I-80 / Mt. Top exit (just east of the I-81/I-80 junction). Enjoy a beautiful lake on the western edge of the Pocono region. Escape the commercialism and crowds of other Pocono area lakes. Beech Mountain Lake is a private gated community with it's own freshwater lake.
Minimum age of 30 years for person signing agreement. This person must be present during rental period. This is a family community. Noise curfew of 9:00 pm is strictly enforced. This is not a party house. Please do not rent here if you plan to have parties. Fireworks and pets strictly prohibited.

Kalahari Indoor Waterpark is a 30 minute drive. Miniature golf, driving range, and 18 hole golf course (Edgewater Golf Course) are 2 minutes from the entrance of the community. Sand Springs is another well known course which is about 5 miles from Beech Mountain Lakes.
Mohegan Sun Casino is 30 minutes north on I-81.
In the winter season, enjoy spectacular views of the frozen lake and snow covered mountains from the warmth of almost every room. Great sledding hill which is lit most nights, is only a 3 minute walk from our house. Great cross country skiing right from our door. Down hill ski areas are a short drive away (Big Boulder/Jack Frost = 30 min, Camel Back = 40 min, Montage Mountain = 30 minutes). Snowmobile trails at Lehigh Gorge and Hickory Run State Park (15 min drive). OUTDOOR PRIVATE HOT TUB (liability release form applies).
From May through October, enjoy kayaking, canoeing, pontoon boats, etc. We have a 16' motorized pontoon boat, for rental at our dock. Must reserve in advance. We also have 2 canoes and 3 kayaks which can be used (liability release must be signed in advance). The lake, once used by the PA Fish Commission for spawning fish, is an electric only-motor lake. Excellent fishing for Large-mouth Bass, Perch, Pickerel, and even trout (lake stocked with Golden,Rainbow,Brown trout in spring for kids fishing derby). Enjoy spectacular mountain views and clear blue skies while boating on the lake or relaxing on the deck and beach. Lake is excellent for swimming. Our private beach is great for kids to play in the sand! Swim off the floating dock. Whitewater rafting and biking on the 'Rails to Trails' at Lehigh Gorge State Park (20 minutes away).
Enjoy hiking trails and cross country ski trails at Nescopeck State Park, just a couple miles down the road.
Take the kids to the new popular waterpark, Kalahari! Just about a 20 minute drive from our community..
The home has a private beach with a campfire ring and expansive dock area with covered gazebo. Property borders 'forested green area' on lake front, giving exceptional privacy. Enjoy the community clubhouse which has its own restaurant and lounge. Virtually all the activities you can imagine that you could do outdoors in Pennsylvania, you can do here. Restaurants, shopping, attractions are minutes away.
The house was custom built with cedar siding and mountain stone. The house has a beautiful floor to ceiling 16' wide mountain stone wood burning fireplace which is a favorite place to gather with friends or relax with a drink or book. The open floor plan allows for lake/mountain views in most every room. Custom bar area with 50' HD TV is a great place to watch sporting events and movies. The knotty-pine finished walk- out lower level also has lake views and large stone fireplace.. This level has a SLATE POOL TABLE, fooseball table, covered outdoor ping pong table, and a cable TV . Lower level also has large bedroom which sleeps (6) and full bath. Large wrap around deck provides plenty of areas to enjoy the lake front view and watch the birds and other wildlife
(our resident White Swans, Bald Eagles, woodpeckers, hawks, raccoons, geese, loons, and occasional Black Bear!).
The 'Clubhouse' has an indoor pool ,indoor basketball, racquetball outdoor tennis court, volleyball, outdoor shuffleboard, outdoor bocce court, private swimming beach, outdoor basketball court, kids playground area, game room, lounge and restaurant with outside deck dining. You are permitted to use these facilities.
Blankets, comforters and pillows are provided. Guests will need to bring their own linens and towels. Bedrooms are arranged as per below:
Master: queen and double (2nd floor has full bath)
BR2: queen and double (2nd floor, shares bath with BR3)
BR3: queen bed (2nd floor, shares bath with BR2)
Lower BR(bunk room): double bed and bunk with double on bottom, single on top , and a bunk with (2) twins. It is ground level off game room. Has full bath)
Lower FR: . (ground level game room- shares full bath with bunk room)
Home comes with all kitchenware, gas grill on deck, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, foosball, indoor wood burning fireplace, outdoor lakeside firepit, firewood.
Please note that we do not have a house phone. However, we have Wi-Fi and most cell phones do get a good signal from our house.
