Equipped with a wealth of sports and leisure facilities, including the nearby Vallon lake (100 ha of "nature sports" with a water sports centre) and a bucolic golf course, backed by the vast wild forest of Planoise (a real "green lung" of the southern foothills of the Morvan massif, to explore during relaxing walks or mountain bike rides), in the heart of a preserved rural and natural setting of great beauty, this doubly thousand-year-old city, labelled "City of Art and History", has a literally exceptional heritage (Gallo-Roman, medieval and classical).
