Positive: The location of the house was beautiful, a very rural setting nicely settled in a small wood on the rolling hills of Normandy. The house was a period French Manor House, very nicely decorated and in very good state. The room was good in size, all amenities we needed were there. The house was clean and welcoming. The hosts were very friendly. The nature surrounding the house was mature beech trees and chestnut trees and a long stretching lawn providing views of the French countryside. The breakfast was very good.
Negative: There could have been a clock in the room. There was no signpost to the house, we missed the entrance from the road first time.
Summary: An excellent experience, very memorable.
