Positive: Everything in the lodge was exceptionally equipped . Nothing was missed . Well done !!!! Refurbished (2025) kitchen not shown on photos . Refurbished bathroom not shown on photos . Lovely views , shrouded in cloud and rain during our stay . Spacious balcony . Donkeys - no llamas , ducks , and other animals mentioned .

Negative: The children's playground right outside all the lodges , that is not shown on any photos . Especially as the only kids were from the campsite not from the lodges or pods that encircled it. Ffestiniog Railway kids slide RIGHT in front of lodge ,not shown on photos . Picture of lodge shows gate on terrace . Not there in reality . Used chairs to block dog wandering. Another lodge is now next to it . Not shown on photos . No sign for Reception unless arriving in Campsite . Assumed it was Shop. Signage for campsite disappeared in Waunfawr , just when it was necessary . Be aware , site is isolated . Mini market on site is not a mini market . Nearest petrol and supermarket is 5 miles away , and the road from the site is very very single track . Pub 20 mins away by walking , opens at 3pm . Who new ??? 4am cock crowing from neighbours poultry .
