Positive: Location great, facilities in apartment good, WiFi worked well, TV had English channels. Beds were ok, but watching the frame as it’s easy to bang your legs when walking round them and it hurts. Main bedroom fan is ok for keeping you cool at night, but not the second bedroom one. Main bedroom is a good size and plenty of wardrobe space. The one towel that was bath sheet size was fab, and smaller towels ok for kids but not an adult. Verandah is a fabulous size and gets the sun on in the morning. Washing machine fab as had washing done prior to going home. Pool is a decent size but to get sunbeds you have to be on the ball when pool opens. Pool bar and staff are fab. Apartments have lifts and everyone seems friendly. Close to lots of amenities and beach, fabulous location and despite being behind a few bars, there was no loud noise etc. Only noise you got occasionally was in morning when waste services are collecting the empty bottles. We were able to have a late check out which was very welcome given we had evening flights. Would consider going back again, it’s just the lack of air conditioning we’d need to think about.
Negative: Lack of air conditioning made it very hot in apartment. The second bedroom was stifling and the ceiling fan is of very little use as it is not effective at all and the one plug in fan in the apartment is useless, it moves so slowly, even on highest setting, it might as well be thrown away. Also, the second bedroom is very small, there is about 1 foot at one side and less on the other. No wardrobe or window in second bedroom The fuses trip when the cooker is switched on so we just managed without and used microwave instead. An extra bath sheet for 2nd adult would be welcome. The staff tell people in pool they can’t have inflatable rings, even babies/toddlers with floats and refer to the signage but the signage is no balls or floating sunbeds, the signage also says no reserving sunbeds but that happens. Eventually the kids got to use inflatable rings.
Summary: Great location, good apartment and amenities, very friendly hosts.
