Positive: The location is great and it's a beautiful spacious apartment. The hosts were very responsive and check in was easy with key codes.
Negative: There's a leak in the hallway ceiling that has been covered up semi-professionally with a board and is still leaking. It is just a minor leak and since it's only in the hallway it didn't bother us too much, but it would've been nice, if the hosts would've informed us about it and just put a bucket underneath, so we at least wouldn't have had to worry about it. Some rooms in the apartment need a bit of reno (peeling paint, water damage, broken off skirting boards), but overall this apartment was much cheaper than others and probably in fair condition for the price (Boston is very expensive!). It would've been nice to have a warmer blanket in November. If you're showering at peak times around 7:30, you might only get warmish water, not hot. The key code lock on the apartment door is slow to respond.
