Positive: This was a great location, close to Lake Wendoree where there is a fabulous 6km walking track around the lake and plenty of cafes and restaurants close by if you wanted a coffee or a meal. We spent a lot of mornings doing this and there was plenty of rowing on the lake to keep us entertained on Saturday morning! It is only 1-2 minutes from downtown Ballarat by car and would be an easy walk as well. The house was great with plenty of DVD's or books for your stay. The owners were very responsive any time we had a query both before and during our stay. It was lovely to sit outside and have a coffee or wine after a long day exploring the area. Highly recommend.
