Positive: We booked this as a family Covid-secure trip for August 2020 but due to UK travel rules constantly changing, we were unable to go until October 2021! Delphine was so patient, understanding and accommodating. The Gite is beautiful, it's bigger than it looks in the photos - four of us could fit on the lounge sofa for a start. The Gite is spotlessly clean and has everything you could need for your stay. Having two shower rooms was brilliant as a big family and there was plenty of space. The swimming pool is stunning! It's like something you'd expect to see at a luxury spa with the beautiful tiles and wooden beams and internal doors. We loved the coloured lights and being able to play our music through the Bluetooth speakers - we tried it out one evening and it was fantastic in the dark! The owners have thought of everything when designing these buildings, from automatic lights in the pool changing room to electric shutters on the sky lights. The area is very peaceful and we visited some beautiful towns and villages. There are two massive supermarkets in Alençon and plenty of restaurants too. Would definitely recommend!
Negative: Nothing to dislike, just a couple of suggestions: Smart TV in the lounge so we could stream Netflix to it? Although we did enjoy the French version of " The Voice" with Ed Sheeran :) Firmer pillows in a rectangle shape - appreciate that might be a UK thing!
