Positive: Stayed for 6 nights at the end of June. Johanna the host was incredibly kind, warm, welcoming and keen to offer us the best experience we could have in Vasiliki as first time visitors. She treated us like family, very caring, and gave us the best recommendations. The apartments are largely self-catered but well appointed. In our studio we had towels, basic kitchen appliances, pots and pans, cutlery, towels, bedding, drying rack, hair dryer, even an ironing board! And crucially, two powerful AC units. The building has its own parking (albeit small, not sure what the arrangements would be like in the high season). Our bins were cleared daily. We didn’t feel the need to change towels or bedsheets during our stay, but I’m sure it wouldn’t have been a problem if we’d requested it. It’s objectively very well located in the western end of the beach, with plenty of wonderful dining and beach lounging options. The walk to the main town takes about 20min, maybe less if you rush. The town itself has everything you need, including a windsurf clubs, a scuba diving club, mini water park, well-priced tourist shops, and a port from which you can take day cruises, ferries and snorkeling safaris.
