As you enter, you'll find closet space for your belongings and to your left, the fully equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing home-cooked meals. Moving to the right, you'll find the modern bathroom, complete with a shower and toilet. Continuing straight ahead, you'll enter the open-plan living, dining, and sleeping area, furnished with two single beds combined into a double and an additional single bed. This space offers plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of adventure.
On the left side of the living area, you'll have access to the North-East facing balcony, a peaceful spot to enjoy the fresh air. Don't forget to make your way up to the rooftop terrace for the best views of Luz Bay, it's a great place to take in the scenery. For your comfort, the apartment is equipped with an AC unit, as well as electric heaters to keep you cozy during cooler nights.
This apartment is just a 2-minute walk from the beach, perfect for those looking to enjoy surfing, diving, snorkeling, and sailing. You'll also be within walking distance of bars, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to enjoy the local area. ## Neighborhood
Luz is a quaint little holiday getaway along the Algarvian coastline. Shops, bars and restaurants and a beautiful beach are right on your doorstep. Set amidst spectacular coastal scenery you can take your time to explore the stunning cliffs, undiscovered beaches, neighbouring quaint villages and the national park. Itโs just a 15-minute drive to the regional capital, Lagos, if you want a bit more action.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
## Transit
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.
Free public parking nearby. Parking in front of the apartment is not always possible in summer, but there will be plenty of space in the surrounding streets.
