Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The staff were very friendly and patient despite us only knowing limited Japanese. They were flexible, allowing us to have dinner at a later time after we took longer than expected to get there. The place itself is very relaxing, with plenty to do. The private bath was especially very nice.

Negative: Some areas could definitely do with cleaning and dusting. It's very much out of the way compared to other locations in Hakone.

Summary: Great escape from busy city life.
