Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Lovely large house. We enjoyed the Black Swan pub in the garden - an ideal space for 11 of us to socialise. Hot tub was also good. Large dining table allowed us all to share meals. Overall a great house for a sociable weekend with a large group.

Negative: A few minor niggles. 1. Bath towels were small and threadbare. 2. Aga was hard to operate and importantly the oven gloves were too thin and not sufficiently protective. 3. Some small plumbing jobs need attention. For example the shower tray in the small bathroom off the kitchen is leaking. Upstairs some of the taps are loose, plugs are not working properly. 4. On the final morning the Gas men arrived at 8am and disturbed us, having (apparently) been told the property would be empty.
