Woodfield is a 500-acre private nature sanctuary in the heart of Muskoka, designed for families to experience being comfortably immersed in nature’s beauty and receiving nature’s relaxing and restorative benefits. With a beautiful architecturally designed, custom-built lodge nestled in the forest, Woodfield is professionally managed to ensure their guests experience their version of peaceful solitude, family and nature connection.

THE SPACE
Welcome to your special nature lodge “Moose Lodge”. A four bedroom custom log lodge architecturally designed to provide you and your family with a unique and meaningful experience
Living Area
Spacious and quite unique, featuring a vaulted A-frame ceiling, exposed log interior, wood floors and wrap-around windows providing a panoramic view of nature that bathes the space with natural sunlight. The comfortable quality rustic furnishings and living space creates the ambiance to connect and enjoy family times whether over board games, reviewing the day’s adventures, enjoying a lovely meal or enjoying a little solitude. Cozy up with a good book on one of the comfy deep lounge couches and enjoy the crackle and smell of your wood-burning fireplace.
Kitchen & Dining
Indulge your inner chef in our fully equipped kitchen, including top-of-the-line appliances. If grilling is more your speed, you will find your own private BBQ and picnic table next to your lodge.
When dinner is ready, gather around the rustic wood dining table or take your meal outside to dine surrounded by nature at your own personal picnic table or firepit.
Bed & Bath
Your high end clamping lodge sleeps up to a maximum of 8 guests with 4 spacious bedrooms. Our queen-sized bunk beds with 100% organic bamboo bed linens, feather duvet and pillows are the perfect set-up for a high-quality sleep. Unique to our property, bedrooms are tented beneath a solid wood structure that provides a sleeping in nature vibe with style, comfort and attention to detail.
Your lodge is outfitted with three bathrooms complete with Turkish towels and washcloths. Bathrooms are accessed via our covered and lit boardwalks. Bathrooms are equipped with in floor heated tiles for your warmth and comfort as you step out of our generously sized high end showers.

Kilometres of well-marked forest and field hiking/ mountain biking trails.
Spring-fed swimming pond (4 acres) with raft, beach area and sundeck outfitted with traditional Muskoka chairs, beach volleyball court, horseshoe pit, canoe, kayaks. Wood burning sauna
Pasture recreational field for play.
Large Tee pee for night bonfires and great story telling. If you want we will gladly set you up for an overnight tent sleep out - kids love it.
Animal sanctuary where you are invited to connect with a herd of friendly Nigerian dwarf goats, miniature donkeys, and cattle! Ask us about the farmer's workshops if you want to delve deeper into the benefits one may experience on the farm.
After dinner, gather with your family ‘round one of our many fire pits to watch the stars come out, take in the music of a crackling fire and maybe enjoy a warm gooey marshmallow.

Woodfield offers your family an amazing opportunity to easily connect with and receive all the benefits that nature provides and to create lifelong memories - especially valuable during these times.
GUEST ACCESS
Families will be greeted and guided to their lodge upon arrival to unpack luggage and groceries. Once unpacked, cars will be parked in the designated onsite parking area about 500 metres away from the lodges so we all enjoy the peace and quiet of our natural surroundings.
Great feature: Each lodge has a designated 4-seat electric cart to get around the property and to access your parked car. All carts have a fold-down back seat to move items such as groceries, firewood, garbage, etc. Carts can only be driven by adults 18 years and older.
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE
A complimentary 50G Wi-Fi package is included with your stay.
All bedding (organic bamboo sheets and goose down duvets/ pillows), as well as bath towels/ washcloths (soft, plush Turkish cotton), are provided. Weekly laundry pick-up through Fabricare is available for families contemplating long-term stays.
We have an onsite sealed garbage disposal area 500 metres from your lodge for use throughout your stay. This is easily accessed with the electric cart provided.
Woodfield offers many opportunities to observe nature at its best including hearing and seeing animals in their natural environment.
Your host, Farmer Mike, lives next to the property in case of emergencies. Your health and well-being are important to us. We take great care in adhering to all health and safety protocols. If you need anything before, during, or after your stay, we are ready to help! We want you and your kids to enjoy the magic we call Woodfield.
NEIGHBORHOOD DESCRIPTION
There are countless experiences to enjoy on-site. Being in the heart of Muskoka also provides you with numerous day adventures with world class nature parks ( Algonquin, Asrrowhead, etc) a multitude of lakes and rivers with public access beaches and the tourist towns of Huntsville, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst. Windermere, Port Carling, Bala - all within a 30 minute drive. However based on experience, once you arrive at Woodfield there’s a good chance you’ll want to stay put and enjoy her nature and all the family adventures you’ll create.
