The Dollhouse is 2 mins on foot from the Jefferson Scholars Foundation and Runk Hall and 5 mins on foot from the Stadium (perfect for game day and other UVA events or visits), yet it is located on a quiet street that gets very little traffic on a normal day. Within 2 mins walk, you will find a quaint little coffee shop, a gas station, a convenience store, laundry and dry cleaning facilities, and dining options. The space has been recently renovated to bring you a homey and cozy space to settle into!
The space
The Dollhouse is perfect for a family. It can comfortably host up to 6 adults (3 bedrooms).
It has 3 bedrooms (one with a regular queen bed, one with a queen sofa bed, and one with a Murphy queen bed). There are also two smaller sofabeds. one single and one loveseat. The bedroom with the Murphy bed is on the ground floor. The house has 2 full baths, one on each level. There is an office in the alcove upstairs, an office in the bedroom with the queen sofabed, and a third workspace in the Murphy bedroom downstairs. There is a main fully equipped kitchen with smart appliances, as well as a secondary kitchenette with minifridge attached to the lower level bedroom. There is a living area by the main kitchen and a separate dining room. Outside there is a side porch with a swing and an outdoor dining area, a gravel herb and vegetable garden attached to the side porch with adirondack chairs and umbrellas, and in the backyard a larger outdoor dining area and a hammock. The rear of the house also has a separate balcony with patio chairs.
The house is NOT accessible due to steps and it is not child proof. The renter needs to be 30 or older.
The Dollhouse is only available for graduation (May, minimum 5 days) and for the summer months for up to 30 nights. A longer stay in the summer is possible through separate bookings. Longer stays (30+ nights) a rental agreement. Please send an inquiry about your dates!
