We are located 2km from the centre of the village of Saint Romain de Benet, near the busy market town of Saujon halfway between the coastal resort of Royan and the ancient Roman city of Saintes. We offer weekly breaks (length of stay negotiable outside high season). The house possesses two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, two bathrooms, spacious traditional style fully-equipped kitchen, large lounge and dining-room. This is the perfect 'getaway from it all' in a 'home from home' location. Perfectly positioned to explore the stunning Atlantic white sandy beaches and islands, marshes, the wine regions of Cognac and Bordeaux among sunflower fields and Charente Maritime's numerous Romanesque and medieval villages and markets.

Summary: The owner was very helpful and gave clear instructions about checking in. The owner kindly left us a bottle of wine and there were instructions about the the house which was also helpful. The house is lovely, three large bedrooms with a beautiful garden. Although it was April we had some great sunshine and were able to eat outside. The house is very comfortable and there is a bathroom downstairs as well as upstairs which was very useful with our young boys. We had a great holiday and will return. Thank you Andy.
