1 Bedroom House in Isla Mujeres

Cottage Grande is the largest of all of the cottages inside the very private walled Villa Makax. The patio faces the west looking towards Cancun, with beautiful views of sunsets over the turquoise waters of Cancun Bay and the soothing pool. Just sitting here will take your breath away. You can step off the patio into the warm salt water pool or walk a few steps to the beach.
Restaurants and beach clubs within walking distance and the Turtle preserve is a short walk south down our beach. Our guests can be picked up for their Isla Mujeres water tours at our private dock on the laguna side.
Villa Makax's four cottages are very cozy and tastefully decorated. Each cottage has a king sized bed, seating area, smart TV, fully equipped kitchenette, refrigerator, full bathroom with shower, air conditioning and ceiling fans.

Summary: We had a wonderful time during our 4 nights at Villa Makax! The property was clean and comfortable, with a view of the pool and the ocean. We loved the privacy and easy access of the beach, and used both the beach and the pool daily. We met the owners, Steve and Lindell, who were so welcoming and fun, and gave us lots of great restaurants recommendations. We rented a golf cart to get around the island and would definitely recommend that for this location on the peninsula. Highly recommend a trip to Isla Mujeres and Villa Makax!
