Positive: Pension Hallberg is just a short walk from the ferry and close to the lakes edge. There is an elevator for those with luggage. We loved our room, which was cosy and homely with a spectacular view of the lake and town. We stayed in winter and dinner options were limited, so we appreciated the adequately appointed kitchenette and the little convenience store directly across the way. It was a lovely hideaway from the busy Halstatt tourist hustle and bustle.
