Positive: The location is incredibly convenient. It is only a couple of minutes' walk from São Bento Station, making it very easy to get to when arriving in the city. You are also within easy walking distance of major landmarks like the Porto Cathedral, Igreja de Santo Ildefonso, the Imperial McDonald's, and the famous Luís I Bridge. For food and beverages, the hotel is perfectly positioned. It is not far away from Conga (around 5 mins walk), the famous local spot known for its amazing bifana and francesinha. It is also close to Pingo Doce, a handy supermarket located right up the hill near Santa Catarina Street, which is great for grabbing daily essentials...and also boozes.
Negative: While the hotel is very close to the train station, Porto's streets can be quite steep and uneven. If you are walking with heavy luggage, that short couple-of-minutes walk can definitely feel a bit longer.
