Summary: Booked a trip to this lake house to relax before school started. The location is beautiful. Steps to the lake with a perfect dock to spend time on or jump/dive from. Also a very short drive to town so if you are someone that likes mixing a lake vacation with runs to the coffee shop and a few great meals for dinner, this is the spot for you. We spent every day on the dock with the kids, reading, swimming, fishing, or just floating. Kayaks are available and we used them often. We've been to Sebago and a few other lakes in the area and were really impressed with Highland. The water quality was excellent and the size was perfect. Big enough for motorized water sports, but calmer and plenty suitable for paddle boarding and kayaking. The house itself was adequate for our needs and communication with the owner was great. Very accessible without being overbearing. Instructions were perfect upon check-in and we had no issues. Thanks for a great end to the summer!
