Forest Lakes neighborhood has an idyllic setting overlooking a peaceful lake with thousands of acres of state forest bordering the community. Completely secluded and quiet, it's hard to believe Highway 30A is just down the road and offers quick access to all the amenities you could desire in this South Santa Rosa Beach location. The recently renovated community pools offer a relaxing dip after a long day at the beach. Make memories on the fishable lake, that's catch and release, and there's also a lovely, covered picnic area with grills, as well as a playground for the kiddos. Blue Mountain Beach is just to the east, and the shops, entertainment, and dining venues of Gulf Place Town Center are a short drive to the west. Located just 783 feet out from the Grayton Beach State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Sea Turtle Reef is at a depth of 12-19 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs.
