Positive: A lovely modern apartment just outside the walls of St Malo old town, very much the best of both worlds: it took only a few minutes to walk to restaurants in the evening but the location of the apartment was quiet and it was easy to drive to. There is a very well appointed kitchen, and hotel quality linen and towels. We picked up the keys from the reception of hotel L’Addresse which is just round the corner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked the fact that there was secure parking under the building, and that there was a lift direct from the garage to the third floor for the apartment, which made packing and unpacking so much simpler.
Negative: I was a little concerned at the requirement for a €1,500 deposit but the checkout procedure was very effective and professional and we were able to specify exactly what time we needed to leave in the morning, so it was not a problem.
