This smart, contemporary coastal property is great… wide French doors open onto the deck and lawn, perfect for relaxing with a coffee over breakfast. Interiors are spacious and light, beautifully furnished and decorated throughout in pale coastal shades giving a seaside feel. Stay at Rhossili Reach and you’re close to some of the best beaches in Wales so don’t forget the wetsuits and buckets and spades!
Award winning Rhossili beach is perfect.. Described as ‘The supermodel of British beaches’ by The Independent and voted the ‘best picnic spot’, it’s easy to see why. Stroll across the bay at low tide or walk to Worms Head (just watch the tide!). It’s also a popular surfing beach and a great spot for bird watching, so don’t forget the binoculars. There’s a steep walk down to the dog friendly beach but it’s well worth the climb if you’re able.

Summary: I liked the house and location. The maintenance of the property needs to improve. Bedrooms had signs of mould on back of curtains and in wardrobes and associated smell. This could have been solved by airing the property and better cleaning. The bath in the bathroom's drain was internally blocked with hair, which appeared when you drained the bath. The collection of household waste needs to be made clearer. It is not picked up every Friday as stated, it is really every 2 weeks which means you are required to take it to the local dump yourself. When you were dropped off and picked up and you do not have your own car having come by train to Swansea, this is an impossible task. I tried to telephone and email the local agent about the rubbish without success. Despite these criticisms I would stay at this property again, it just needs better looking after.
