Positive: The cabin was on the "river's edge" in a quiet location. My grandson could walk out the door and immediately go fishing.
Negative: There was sand on the couch and coffee table upon arrival. I received a text from Vacasa asking me to rate the cleanliness and I did. I received a follow-up message and was asked to email pictures to a particular Vacasa email address. I did not initiate the communication but received messages indicating they could not locate me in their system and to provide more information. I did not want to spend my vacation communicating with the property managers. I am not sure how I was so easily located to receive text messages and hidden from others. I gave the town, name of property, and my name. The property was on a road that looped from a main road. One entrance was much more accessible than the other which had a VERY steep hill to navigate. More explicit directions or perhaps a warning to utilize one entrance over the other would be helpful for future renters.
