Summary: Have returned as a guest multiple times over the years- my favorite VB hotel. Friendly; at a (usually) quiet end of the beach; ammenities are GREAT for the price. This time, however, ocean view was obstructed by tractor trailers due to monster truck event right outside. So much for a quiet, peaceful weekend retreat! -- lesson learned: pay attention to any events booked at the 5th/6th street area during your stay.
