From every step of the walk, you’ll find spectacular views showcasing the golden sands of Newcastle and Nobbys Lighthouse. With the rich history of this area, you’ll be left in awe.
Newcastle Foreshore is a park which spans 11 hectares, kissing the border of the harbour, beaches, and culturally significant sites. This reclaimed land offers stunning views of the harbour and is an excellent place to settle down for a relaxing picnic. The playground offers an excellent escape for the kids while parents enjoy the serenity of the area. Once you’ve finished exploring, make sure to head to one of the many nearby eateries.
The Blackbutt Nature Reserve spans an impressive 182 hectares of amazing bushland, and with free entry to wildlife exhibits, this is the perfect setting for a family day out.
