Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The hotel (together with the restaurant at the ground level) is located in a very nice position on the lake waterfront, you can have breakfast outside near to the water. The room was quite good and also the breakfast was at a decent level. We had dinner one evening, we enjoyed the Austrian typical meal but the cost was really excessive.
Negative: Unfortunately we did not read comments from previous guests. The hotel is located just on a main extra urban road where cars run at 60/80 km/hr, therefore a lot of noise day and night. Due to the fact that there is no air conditioning we had to stay with window closed and a fan they provided ... to survive. The other main problem was about restaurant smells, they plague most of the areas. Some of the staff was not too friendly. As for other family hotel in Austria they have a weekly day rest in which they shut down completely the restaurant and mostly also the hotel; we had however the breakfast. In consideration of all this I judge the price we paid for the hotel (and the dinner) really excessive
