Famous for Portobello Market, its annual street carnival, and for being the backdrop for several famous films, Notting Hill is a vibrant part of the city. Colourful shop fronts sit alongside world-renowned restaurants. Vintage lovers will want to spend plenty of time browsing the market – best visited on a Saturday, although you’ll find stalls lining the street all week. For movie fans, tours of the most famous locations can be seen on the Notting Hill Film Tour. Or take a stroll around one of London’s more unusual museums, the Museum of Brands on Lancaster Road. Simon Close is spread across three levels, each one decorated in a modern style with neutral colourways but with the home’s traditional features still incorporated into the décor.
