3 Bedroom Cottage in Gravenhurst

Our cozy cottage is located on a small, quiet cul-de-sac street directly off of the gorgeous Muskoka Beach Rd.
The freshly renovated cottage is well equipped with 3 large bedrooms, an amazing kitchen with brand new appliances, a cozy indoor gas fireplace and a HUGE heated Muskoka room.
Our designers have carefully curated this beautiful cottage with some of the most iconic mid-century modern design pieces available.
Sit back and enjoy a book in the authentic Herman Miller EAMES chair, or cozy up for a meal or a game of cards at the Knoll Saarinen dining table with matching colourful Eames Eiffel chairs. We're hoping that you'll love sitting under the soothing light of the Nelson Saucer Bubble pendant light above the dining table. The standout of the cottage is the uber cool MALM fireplace that we were lucky enough to find. It is located in the Muskoka room and works perfectly alongside the beautiful cedar ceiling and comfy outdoor furniture.
Located on the second floor of the cottage are the 3 bedrooms. As with all A-framed designed cottages, the sloped ceilings add to the interest of the cottage. The bedrooms are equipped with 1000 thread count sheets and hypo-allergenic duvets. Each bedroom includes sheer curtains and heavier curtains to block out the sunlight or moonlight. Warm mist humidifiers are also provided for those who prefer a bit more humidity in the winter months.
The master bedroom has a stylish ensuite for privacy and at the top of the stairs there is a bathroom for the other two bedrooms.
Guests can enjoy access to our beautiful beach and private dock just steps away. We have provided a tow sled so you may pull your things down to the lake in the snowy months. Our neighbours like to keep an ice rink on the lake so please have fun! And be safe!
We are right next to the famed TABOO resort of Gravenhurst. Amenities at the resort include Golf, Tennis, Marina services and a full service waterfront restaurant.

Summary: We had a great time at this property, which was clean, comfy, great location close to the lake. Mike was very prompt in answering all our questions. A few recommendations: please provide a manual with house rules (like the charge for extra trash bags which we were not aware of until ready to checkout), checkout instructions (where to place trash, what needs to be done before leaving the property), and how to use the appliances (we could not figure out how to use the drawer-style microwave!). The other thing that I want to clarify is that the property description says private dock. That dock is actually part of a front-lake property which is owned by Mike also. We found out about it from some neighbors, and after inquiring about it, Mike told us we can use it IF no one was in that house. Same for the paddle boards and the kayaks. We were able to use it only one afternoon, the next day someone was in the house. We still had access to the private beach though. Also, the amenities mentioned at the next door Taboo resort are actually only for resort guests. We could not rent kayaks from them. All in all, we had a great stay, the area is very beautiful.
