Positive: The accommodation was very clean and well presented. We had a comfortable stay for just a few days in Lyon. The location is superb and is surrounded by lots of cafes and excellent restaurants. There are local boulangeries and any kind of other shop needed. The Metro Line C is very nearby and it is a very short trip down to Hotel de Ville. There are handy buses as well if you prefer a scenic trip down the hill! This is a really good area of Lyon for a stay and we would certainly re-visit in the future.
Negative: The apartment is well equipped but, just for inforation, not really set up for any kind of serious cooking. Best to go out and enjoy the nearby restaurants and cafés anyway. Perhaps providing two pillows per person would be nice and additional towels, but, overall, no complaints at all. We did have an issue opening the keysafe, which had been moved to the back of the mailbox instead of being on the door, probably for good security reasons. However, it is a bit hard to access and we found that a previous user had jammed the keys in and it was hard to open, necessary to push the front in hard while pressing the two buttons at the side. A larger key box would help here, if possible. Also, there is a very useful NFC token on the key ring which allows the lift to go to the car park and avoids having to keep entering door codes at three locations each time. Mention of this token in the otherwise excellent instructions would be helpful.
Summary: We really enjoyed our time in Lyon and it is definately on our list of places to re-visit.
