Summary: We had an amazing time! Indeed, as noted, this flat has the only balcony on Trafalgar Square. We spent time just people watching from the balcony as you could see people going into the National Gallery, posing with Nelson's Column and the lions and fountains, and checking out St. Martin-in-the-Fields. We popped over to the National Gallery a 2nd time because it was so close. Perfect for family with teens (ages 17, 17, and 16). Girls had loft with twins bed, son had double bed room, and husband and I had bedroom upstairs with own bathroom. On 2nd floor with easy to access lift or easy to use stairs. James was great property manager! He let us check in early and even met us at flat to show us around. The street noise was loud on Saturday night as the flat is above the Admiralty Pub, which was hosting Atlanta Falcon fans for NFL game being played in London the next day. However, it was cheery to hear the pub goers singing and it promptly stopped at midnight when the pub closed. I had downloaded a White Noise app in case the noise bothered us, as I had read other reviews about the noise level, but we never even used it. Other than Saturday night, only regular street noise was heard. Because this flat's location is so amazing, we could walk everywhere - 15 minute walk to Buckingham Palace for Changing of the Guards, 15 minute walk to #10 Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and Parliament, and 10 minute walk to West End theatre district where we saw 2 shows. Amazing!
