The two-story townhouse in the Highlands subdivision is perfect for a large family, group of friends, or two families who want to spend time together in a shared space rather than paying for multiple hotel rooms near Mississippi State University.
The space sleeps 6-7 comfortably:
Master Bedroom - 1 King
Guest Bedroom - 2 Queens
Living area - Sofa available for sleeping (we also have an air mattress in the garage available as well. Linens stored in upstairs bedroom closet)
The townhouse is comprised of one side of a two-unit duplex and is conveniently located in the Highlands Plantation subdivision, right off of Hwy 82. The lake is located behind the townhouse and wraps around the side with an open lot across the street. The townhouse is located 2.8 miles to the MSU campus and 4 miles to downtown Starkville. Whether you are in town visiting your kids, touring campus, or attending a sports event, our townhouse will give you room to relax and enjoy your time in Starkville! Book today!
*PLEASE NOTE*
- You must climb a flight of stairs to access the bedrooms
- There is one exterior camera monitoring sound & video of the front entrance/driveway for the safety and security of the owner and guests
- There is space for 2 cars to park in the driveway. Please be respectful of driveway parking as we share our driveway with our neighbors on the other side of the duplex. (Please note: garage is available for use, but is only for storage and does not fit a full size vehicle). Street parking is also available.
- Guests have access to our own deck space, but we share a wooden fence divider with the adjacent unit. Please be respectful of our neighbors.
-Fishing is allowed on the lake, so bring your fishing pole! Please don’t be surprised if you see some our neighbors out fishing around the banks of the lake!
- There are ducks on the lake. Please do not feed them.
-No swimming or watercraft is allowed on the lake.
The first floor includes:
- Large 8'x10' outdoor deck with an unobstructed view of the lake and includes dining table & four chairs (plus two additional chairs) . Patio lights wrap the deck and can easily be plugged in for wonderful nighttime ambiance while enjoying the relaxing lake view
- Comfortable living room with plenty of seating
- Sofa available for sleeping (and additional air mattress is also available, stored in the garage. Linens are located in upstairs bedroom closet)
- Large 55" Smart Roku TV. YouTube TV is available for all guests. There are over 100 channels available including local channels, national channels, and SEC Network.
Guests also have the ability to utilize Roku to access streaming platforms including Netflix, Hulu, HBOMax, Disney+ and more. *Please note that guests must provide your own login information to stream Roku services*
- Dining table with seating for 6
- Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to create that perfect tailgate or dinner menu! Please note that the TV can easily be seen while you are cooking and it includes a pass-thru to easily provide food to the crew!

Guests also have the ability to utilize Roku to access streaming platforms including Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney+ and more with their own provided logins. Includes ceiling fan and plenty of closet space.
- Second Bedroom with (2) plush QUEEN size beds with brand new mattresses as of August, 2019 with an attached full private en-suite bathroom . The room also includes a spacious desk. There is a 30” Roku Smart TV with YouTube TV cable TV service. Includes ceiling fan and plenty of closet space.
-Full size washer and dryer is available in upstairs hallway closet
