Summary: Older accommodation. Clean, spacious, beds comfortable, full kitchen facilities. Didn't see the "rain shower head" in the bathroom though :) . There was however a shower curtain that liked to "get up close and personal". Would be no good for elderly as car parking was 50 meters from the units down a steep grassy hill and poorly lit. Complex operated by the upmarket Governors lodge. Need to collect and drop off keys at the lodge. No reception on site at the crest. We had a few problems with the smoke alarm and DVD player. Very hard to get someone to assist. Simple maintenance items seemed to be overlooked. A shame really. Driveway had huge potholes, light bulbs not replaced, clock had flat battery, Screen door to balcony did not open properly. It is one of the furthest from the main town. not that this was very far. Less than 8 Kms. The Governors Lodge charged our room before we arrived which we had not agreed to. We were going to use another Credit card and split payment etc. We were unable to obtain a copy of our receipt for this payment. Disappointing. Overall, I would stay again but for the price charged, you could find much better accommodation options on the island.
