Summary: It’s a lovely boutique hotel that has historic origins but has been fitted out very nicely now as a hotel. The attached Italian restaurant is excellent - we had two meals there and thoroughly enjoyed each. There is no staff to deal with - a lady came from the restaurant to let us our room key and we never saw anyone then. Lots of history in the area - 20 minutes to Shiner and the Spoetzel brewery for the tours there. 10 minutes from the Ottine Mineral Springs Spa. We’ve recommended it to friends travelling soon to the area.
