Summary: The property is amazing, plenty of space, well equipped and great outdoor space. Beautifully large quirky house. Lovely open plan for a family holiday. Location is exceptionall, very central, within walking distance of many fabulous restaurants, but is still very quite and peaceful. Would definitely book again, if it werent spoiled on our return by the unprofessional management company "Algarve Retreats". They would not return our safety deposit because one of the umbrellas blew over and got damaged because of the notorious Portugese winds. They since charged us for two umbrellas, total scam artists. They maintained we should have supervised the umberellas, despite the fact that they were closed and we had gone out for lunch. Such a shame. Dont let it put you off the property but be aware of Algarve Retreats unscrupulous tactics. We would definitely book the property again but only if i could use another professional company and not Algarve Retreats.
